Audio engineered for executive time.
Mentmanuf was founded in 2018 by four former operators — two CEOs, a head of strategy, and a head of product — who'd given up on consumer audiobook platforms for executive use. The 12-hour audiobook is the wrong unit for senior listening windows. We built an alternative around the formats that actually fit: 30-minute summaries, 12-minute briefings, 90-minute long-form interviews. Engineered, not ported.
How we produce audio
Every audio asset on the platform is professionally produced by our editorial team or licensed from publishers and reproduced under license. Summaries are written by domain editors with relevant operating backgrounds, narrated in studio, and reviewed against the source. We don't ship AI-generated summaries; you can hear the difference.
How we curate
Our editorial team is staffed by senior operators across strategy, finance, product, sales, and engineering leadership. We acquire and produce audio for what we'd actually want to listen to in executive roles — and we're as willing to skip a high-profile release as champion an underheard one. The selection bias is operator-driven, not commercial.
